I am having professional press releases written Tuesday and sent out to every possible organization to spread the word about the group and its efforts within the community!

I spoke with Shelter from the Storm earlier in the week, what a wonderful organization! I don't think people are aware of just how many homeless people are right here in our town - and guess what, some people have children! These children deserve a hot meal every day, school will be out soon and whit will happen to those kids who depend on the meals they get from school? They deserve to have your support for a soup kitchen!

Fill out your membership form - show your support for someone who needs a hand, it could be your neighbor, it could be you!

So far I am getting great feedback from the article in today's Ledger Transcript Newspaper! I have gotten several emails through the contact page of the website and the counter is up from 111 yesterday to 150 today, so I think while it seems to be a small number, it is a good response from the ad and the day is not done yet!

I have received emails from independent sales persons wishing to post ads in the news & resource section, so once I get a few ads to support the cost of the website (or sell some T-shirts, I can add some more pages such as a women's health page and perhaps recipes? What are your thoughts? This website is for the community so I want to be sure what I am putting on it is of interest!

So many of us are currently laid off and networking is one of the best ways to get our name and our talents out there to others! There are many of us who have our own business, trying to start a business or are looking to barter, or looking for a job! Why not network locally! Get to know the women in our community! Let's ban together and as a group reach out to others, volunteer, carpool, help someone who is sick, make friends and laugh along the way!
